- 1 cup honey
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup butterbeer flavoring or extract
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a saucepan, combine honey, sugar, and butter over medium heat. Stir until the mixture reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
- Remove from heat and quickly stir in baking soda and vanilla extract. The mixture will foam up.
- Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly. Let it cool and harden.
- Burst into pieces and drizzle with butterbeer sauce if desired. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
