Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup clear school glue (purchase here)
- 1/2 cup water
- Green food coloring or gel dye
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon contact lens solution (containing boric acid and sodium borate) (find it here)
- Optional: glow-in-the-dark pigment for extra effect
- Some plastic dinosaurs or dinosaur-themed toys for added fun
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the school glue and water, stirring thoroughly until smooth.
- Add a few drops of green food coloring or gel dye to the glue mixture. Mix well to get a vibrant green shade.
- Stir in the baking soda, which helps to make the slime stretchy and shiny.
- Slowly add the contact lens solution while continuously stirring. The slime will begin to form and pull away from the sides of the bowl.
- Once the slime reaches the desired consistency, knead it with your hands until it becomes smooth and pliable.
- For an authentic dinosaur spit appearance, add some glow-in-the-dark pigment or small dinosaur figures.
- Store your green goo slime in an airtight container when not in use. For more fun slime recipes, check out our Waffle Party Waffles.
Notes
- Keep slime stored in an airtight container or resealable plastic bag.
- Avoid direct sunlight and heat to prevent drying out.
- If slime becomes sticky, knead in a little more contact lens solution to restore elasticity.
