- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 5 cups cold water
- ¼ cup fresh strawberry purée (or 2 tbsp strawberry syrup)
- Ice cubes, for serving
- Lemon slices and mint sprigs, for garnish
Instructions
- Combine lemon juice and sugar in a large pitcher. Stir until sugar dissolves completely (about 1–2 minutes).
- Add 4 cups cold water and stir.
- Mix in strawberry purée until fully incorporated and drink turns a vibrant pink.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more sugar or water as needed.
- Serve over ice in tall glasses. Garnish with lemon slices and mint.
Notes
- For a boozy version, add 1–2 oz vodka per serving.
- No strawberry? Try a splash of cranberry juice for color and flavor (reduce sugar to ½ cup).
- Use agave or honey for a vegan sweetener (dissolve in warm water first).
