A no-bake, no-churn frozen dessert loaf inspired by Disney’s Lilo & Stitch, featuring mint chocolate chip ice cream layered in a bread loaf pan for easy slicing and hosting.

  • Total Time: 6 hours 15 minutes
  • Yield: 8–10 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp pure peppermint extract (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp green food coloring ( Optional)
  • 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup toasted coconut flakes (optional)
  • Mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Line a standard 9×5-inch loaf pan with plastic wrap, leaving overhang on two sides for easy removal.
  2. In a large bowl, whip the cold heavy cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gently fold in the sweetened condensed milk, peppermint extract, and food coloring (if using) until fully combined and uniformly pale green.
  4. folded in chocolate chips and toasted coconut (if using).
  5. Pour mixture into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 6 hours, or overnight.
  7. To serve, lift the loaf out using the plastic wrap overhang. Remove plastic wrap, slice with a warm knife, and garnish with mint leaves.

Notes

  • For a stronger mint flavor, add an extra 1/4 tsp peppermint extract—but be careful not to overdo it, as too much can taste like toothpaste.
  • Use high-quality chocolate chips for best texture; avoid melted chocolate to keep the loaf no-bake friendly.
  • Allow to sit at room temperature for 5–7 minutes before slicing for cleaner cuts.
