  • 12 oz white candy melts, divided
  • Blue and coral gel food coloring
  • Red gel food coloring (for coral tineDetail)
  • Edible pearl candies
  • Sugar crystals (for gem effect)
  • Chocolate piping gel (optional, for ‘glue’)

Instructions

  1. Bake vanilla cake per box instructions; let cool completely.
  2. Crumble cake into a large bowl; mix in Âľ cup vanilla frosting and pink gel coloring until bright pink.
  3. Roll mixture into 12 even balls; chill 30 min.
  4. Melt 6 oz white candy melts; divide into 3 bowls. Tint one coral, one blue, one pale blue.
  5. Dip cake balls halfway in coral melts, then gently drag a thin line of red through the top to mimic coral tines.
  6. Place on parchment-lined tray; chill until set (10 min).
  7. Melt remaining blue and pale blue melts; dip remaining cake pop halves (opposite side) to create fork handle effect.
  8. Before fully set, press edible pearls onto blue section and sprinkle with sugar crystals.
  9. Chill 10+ minutes; insert sticks if desired.
