- 3 pounds beef roast (chuck or brisket)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon black pepper

- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Mix cumin, paprika, cinnamon, black pepper, salt, and garlic in a small bowl.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over the beef roast.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the beef on all sides until browned.
- Transfer beef to a roasting pan, drizzle with honey, and pour beef broth around it.
- Cover with foil and roast for 3-4 hours until tender.
- Let rest for 15 minutes before slicing. Serve with roasted vegetables or crusty bread.

- For a smoky flavor, add a teaspoon of smoked paprika.
