Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ribeye steaks (approximately 1 inch thick)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 cup red wine (preferably a bold variety)
- Roasted vegetables of your choice (e.g., asparagus, potatoes, carrots)
Instructions
- Combine olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add ribeye steaks, coating them fully with the marinade and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Sear both steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
- Pour a glass of bold red wine to pair with the steak.
- Serve the juicy steak alongside roasted vegetables and enjoy the gourmet experience.
Notes
- Marinating the steak enhances its flavor, so try to marinate it longer if possible.
- Adjust cooking times based on your desired level of doneness.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
