  • ½ tspSmoked paprika, divided

  • 1 tspHorseradish, fresh or prepared
  • 1 tspCelery seed, finely ground
  • S alt to taste
  • 1 tbspBloody Mary mix (optional: with a splash of vodka, reduced gently)
  • Garnish: 6 picholine olives, 2 tsp Fresh dill, paprika for dusting

Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a saucepan, cover with cold water by 1 inch. Bring to a boil, cover, remove from heat, and let stand for 12 minutes.
  2. Transfer eggs to ice water bath, cool completely, peel, and slice in half lengthwise. Carefully remove yolks and place in a bowl.
  3. mashed yolks with a fork. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire, horseradish, ½ tsp smoked paprika, lemon juice, celery seed, and salt. Stir until smooth.
  4. Stir in reduced Bloody Mary mix (if using) for a bold kick and color.
  5. Spoon or pipe yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  6. Drizzle with remaining reduced Bloody Mary reduction (optional). Sprinkle with remaining paprika, top with olives and dill.
  7. Chill 30 minutes before serving. Best served fresh.
