Instructions
- Gently melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, then let it cool slightly.
- Whisk egg yolks into the melted chocolate until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg whites with sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Fold egg whites into chocolate mixture carefully to maintain aeration.
- Whip heavy cream with vanilla until soft peaks form, then fold into the mousse.
- Spoon the mousse into cups, chill for at least 2 hours, then garnish with edible glitter and mint.
Notes
- For a vegan version, substitute dark chocolate with dairy-free alternatives and use coconut cream.
- Ensure chocolate is cooled before folding to prevent melting the meringue.
