- 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Black edible glitter or dust
- Silver dragees
- Chocolate cocoa powder (for coating)
Instructions
- Heat heavy cream until just boiling then pour over chopped dark chocolate. Let sit for 2 minutes.
- Stir until smooth and add vanilla extract. Chill mixture until firm, about 2 hours.
- Scoop chocolate mixture and roll into small balls. To create thorn texture, pinch and shape with fingers or a small fork.
- Roll each truffle in cocoa powder, then decorate with edible glitter and silver dragees to resemble thorns.
- Chill before serving. Optional: add more sparkle with extra edible dust.
