Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef and pork. Add breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, onion, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into evenly-sized meatballs, about the size of a golf ball. You can also shape some to resemble tiny Mjolnir hammers for a themed touch.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook, turning regularly, until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Alternatively, bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes.
- Transfer cooked meatballs to simmering marinara sauce to soak up flavors, creating a legendary Marvel food experience. Serve hot garnished with parsley and Parmesan.
Notes
- For extra authenticity, shape some meatballs as tiny Mjolnir hammers.
- Use fresh parsley for a vibrant flavor; dried can suffice if fresh is unavailable.
- Ensure meatballs are cooked through for safety and optimal flavor.
