- 4 toaster strudel shells (frozen, plain or berry-flavored)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup raspberry jam (or seedless)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp coarse sugar (optional)
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Unroll toaster strudels. Spread 1 tsp jam on one half of each strudel, then pipe or spoon 1 tbsp cream cheese mixture over the jam.
- Fold the other half over the filling, crimp edges with a fork, and place on baking sheet.
- Brush tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse sugar (optional).
- Bake 14β16 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Cool 5 minutes, then dust generously with powdered sugar.

- For extra flair, pipe a decorative ‘Burn Book’ line on a mini paper tag: βOn Friday, we wear pink.β
- Use a knife to carefully cut small hearts or letters into the top before baking for personalization.
- For a shortcut, swap jam for fruit preserves (like strawberry or apricot).
