For the frosting:
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2-3 tablespoons milk or heavy cream

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until fluffy using your KitchenAid Stand Mixer.
- Mix in the egg, vanilla, and a few drops of pink gel food coloring until well combined and pink throughout.
- Gradually add dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
- Flatten each ball slightly with the bottom of a glass or palm.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden. Cool completely on a wire rack.
- Prepare frosting by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and pink food coloring until smooth.
- Spread or pipe frosting onto cooled cookies.
- Decorate with sprinkles or edible glitter for extra glam, then let set before serving.
