- 2 tbsp coconut oil (or butter)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (or almond bark)
- Red candy melts (for core)
- Edible gold dust (food-grade)
- 12 small silicone candy molds or mini muffin tin
Instructions
- Melt caramel bits and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Stir in sugar and vanilla until combined.
- Pour 1 tsp of caramel mixture into each mold, then freeze for 5 minutes to set.
- Melt red candy melts and fill centers of each mold, creating a small red core.
- Pour remaining caramel over red cores, smoothing tops.
- Freeze again for 10 minutes until firm.
- Melt white chocolate and stir in edible golden dust to make a shimmering glaze.
- Remove caramel treats from molds, then dip or drizzle with golden glaze.
- Let set on parchment paper until firm (about 15 minutes).

- For a gluten-free option, ensure all candy melts are certified GF.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week — best served at room temp for chewy texture.
