- 200g thinly sliced beef or pork
- 1 cup Napa cabbage leaves
- 1 cup sliced shiitake mushrooms
- 1/2 cup sliced green onions
- 1/2 cup carrots, sliced
- 200g udon noodles or rice noodles
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon miso paste
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Chili flakes (optional)
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the broth and add soy sauce, miso paste, and sesame oil. Bring to a boil.
- Add the vegetables and cook for 5 minutes.
- Place the thinly sliced meat into the broth, cooking until just tender, about 2-3 minutes.
- Cook the noodles separately according to package instructions, then add to the hotpot or serve on the side.
- Serve hot with chopsticks and enjoy the heroic flavors!

- Adjust the spice level with chili flakes to your taste.
- You can substitute other vegetables or proteins based on preference.
