- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup honey mustard sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear chicken on both sides until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Transfer chicken to a baking dish, top each with cheese and bacon crumbles.
- Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
- In the last 5 minutes, brush honey mustard sauce over the chicken and return to oven.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate chicken in honey mustard sauce for 30 minutes prior to cooking.
- Use thick-cut bacon for added crunch and flavor.
