- 2 cups sushi rice
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 8 oz fresh raw tuna or salmon, diced
- 1/2 cup diced cucumber
- 1/2 cup diced avocado
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Black sesame seeds
- Green onions, sliced
- Wasabi and pickled ginger (optional)
Instructions
- Cook sushi rice according to package instructions and let cool slightly. Mix with rice vinegar and let it cool completely.
- Shape the rice into a bowl shape on a serving plate.
- Arrange diced raw fish on half of the rice to resemble the red top of a Pokéball, and add sliced cucumber and avocado to the other side for the white bottom.
- Sprinkle with black sesame seeds to mimic the Pokéball button and garnish with green onions.
