Instructions
- Wash and thinly slice the cucumber.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, dill, chives, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture on each slice of bread.
- Arrange the cucumber slices on half the bread slices.
- Optionally, use red food coloring on a few cucumber slices for a ‘bloody’ effect.
- Top with remaining bread slices, press gently, and trim edges.
- Cut into triangles or small squares and serve on a platter.
