- 1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, sliced thin
- 2 cups cooked jasmine or white rice
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic and ginger, cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Cook steak slices until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from skillet.
- Add vegetables to the skillet, stir-fry until tender-crisp, about 3-5 minutes.
- Return steak to skillet, add soy sauce, and toss to combine and heat through.
- Serve over cooked rice, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken or tofu for the steak.
- Adjust soy sauce for saltiness.
- Use fresh vegetables for best flavor.
