  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 8 slices

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ¾ cups milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chocolate syrup (for drizzling)
  • Whipped cream
  • Sprinkles, edible glitter, or themed cake toppers
  • Colorful cookies or candies for extra decoration

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, combine the milk, eggs, and melted butter. Add this to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Pour ¼ cup of batter for each pancake and cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes until golden brown.
  1. Blend the vanilla ice cream, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Pour the milkshake mixture into a large bowl or container and set aside.
  1. Layer a pancake on a serving plate, drizzle with chocolate syrup, and spread a layer of milkshake filling on top.
  2. Repeat the process to create multiple layers, finishing with a pancake layer on top.
  3. Decorate with whipped cream, sprinkles, and themed decorations to make it truly internet-themed.

Notes

  • Store the assembled pancake milkshake cake in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap for up to 24 hours.
  • For longer storage, keep the cake components separately and assemble just before serving to prevent sogginess.
