Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 ¾ cups milk
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup chocolate syrup (for drizzling)
- Whipped cream
- Sprinkles, edible glitter, or themed cake toppers
- Colorful cookies or candies for extra decoration
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the milk, eggs, and melted butter. Add this to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Pour ¼ cup of batter for each pancake and cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes until golden brown.
- Blend the vanilla ice cream, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the milkshake mixture into a large bowl or container and set aside.
- Layer a pancake on a serving plate, drizzle with chocolate syrup, and spread a layer of milkshake filling on top.
- Repeat the process to create multiple layers, finishing with a pancake layer on top.
- Decorate with whipped cream, sprinkles, and themed decorations to make it truly internet-themed.
Notes
- Store the assembled pancake milkshake cake in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap for up to 24 hours.
- For longer storage, keep the cake components separately and assemble just before serving to prevent sogginess.
