- 2 tbsp of fresh herbs (cilantro and scallions)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 egg (optional, for sealing)
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by gathering and chopping vegetables, and shredding the cooked chicken.
- Mix the filling: combine chicken, vegetables, herbs, garlic powder, black pepper, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a bowl.
- Prepare the wrappers by mixing flour, water, and salt until a dough forms; knead, roll out, and cut into circles.
- Assemble and steam dumplings: fill wrappers with mixture, fold, seal, and steam for 15-20 minutes.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Unsteamed dumplings can be frozen for up to 2 months, steam directly from frozen.
- Serve with soy sauce or chili oil; can be added to broth for a hearty soup.
