Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, diced onions, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
- Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and shape into small, flat patties.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook each patty for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until fully cooked.
- During the last minute, sprinkle shredded cheddar on top of each patty to melt.
- Spread ketchup and mustard on the mini buns.
- Place each cooked patty on the bottom half of the buns.
- Add pickles and optional toppings like bacon, lettuce, or tomato.
- Cap with the top half of the buns and secure with toothpicks if necessary.

- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- Reheat in a skillet or oven for best texture.
