Ingredients
Scale
- 3β4 lb Beef Roast (such as sirloin or round roast)
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Fresh Rosemary, chopped
- 2 tbsp Fresh Thyme, chopped
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 cup Beef Broth
Instructions
- Pat the beef roast dry with paper towels. Mix garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Rub the mixture all over the roast.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the roast on all sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Preheat your oven to 325Β°F (160Β°C). Place the seared roast back into the skillet with beef broth. Cover and roast for approximately 20-25 minutes per pound for medium-rare.
- Remove from oven and let the roast rest for at least 15-20 minutes before slicing against the grain.
Notes
- Choose the right cut like sirloin or top round for the best results.
- Season generously to enhance flavor.
- Using a meat thermometer ensures proper cooking.
- Let the roast rest before carving for maximum juiciness.
