- 5 large fresh carrots
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Your favorite dip (hummus, ranch, etc.)
Instructions
- Wash the fresh carrots under cold running water.
- Peeled the carrots using a vegetable peeler.
- Cut the peeled carrots into sticks, aiming for a size easy for kids to hold.
- Place the carrot sticks on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes or until tender and slightly crispy.
Notes
- Store leftover carrot sticks in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in the oven for a few minutes before serving to regain crispness.
- Serve with a variety of dips for added fun and nutrition.
