Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cupcake tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In another bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. About 3-4 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with milk. Mix until just combined.
- Divide batter into three bowls: leave one plain, tint one pink, and the last blue with gel colors.
- Dissolve butterfly pea flower powder in boiling water; add small amounts to pink and blue bowls to enhance color-changing effects.
- Layer batter in cupcake liners: pink, then blue, then plain on top; swirl gently for a marbled look.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool cupcakes completely before applying magcial transformation effects.
