Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz high-quality dark or milk chocolate (for a smoother melt, see this chocolate guide)
- 1 teaspoon edible glitter or luster dust (preferably in cosmic shades like silver, blue, or violet)
- 1/2 teaspoon food-safe star or cosmic-shaped sprinkles
- Colored candy melts or white chocolate for swirling in shades of blue, purple, and black
- Fresh edible pearls or shimmering candies for added galaxy effect
- Optional: edible glitter or shimmer spray for extra sparkle
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to prevent sticking.
- Prepare your colored candy melts or melt white chocolate, then divide into separate bowls to create swirling colors. Melt according to package instructions.
- Melt the chocolate or candy melts and pour onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading evenly with an offset spatula.
- Quickly add drops of the different colored melts onto the chocolate base. Use a toothpick or skewer to gently swirl the colors together, creating a cosmic, swirling galaxy pattern.
- Sprinkle the edible glitter, star-shaped sprinkles, and shimmering candies generously across the surface for a true galaxy look.
- Allow the bark to set at room temperature or in the refrigerator until completely hardened, about 30 minutes.
Notes
- Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor and appearance.
- Experiment with different color combinations and glitter for unique galaxy effects.
- For an extra shimmering finish, spray with edible shimmer or glitter after setting.
