- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/2 cup buttermilk or milk
- Blue food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line muffin tin with paper liners or lightly grease.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and buttermilk. Add a few drops of blue food coloring for vibrant color.
- Gently fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients, then fold in blueberries carefully to prevent breaking.
- Divide batter evenly into muffin cups. Decorate with icing or edible markers for R2-D2 details after baking.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes, then decorate to mimic R2-D2’s features and beeps!
Notes
- Use blue food coloring to intensify the Blueberry Muffins’ color for a true R2-D2 look.
- Decorate with edible markers, icing, or fondant for the best R2-D2 effect.
- Frozen blueberries can be used directly from the freezer; do not thaw before folding in.
