- 4 frozen Eggo Homestyle Waffles
- 2 oz (1/4 cup) grated American cheese
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- Optional: 1 tbsp maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of two waffles and place buttered-side down on the skillet.
- Sprinkle cheese evenly over the exposed waffle surfaces.
- Top with the third waffle (unbuttered), then place the fourth waffle on top, buttered-side up.
- Cook until golden brown and cheese is melted (2–3 minutes per side).
- Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm with maple syrup if desired.
Notes
- For extra gooeyness, cover the skillet with a lid for the last minute of cooking.
- Use extra-wide waffle irons or叠two waffles per layer if using standard Eggo waffles for a taller stack.
