Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of mixed berries with 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
- In another bowl, mix together 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup of rolled oats, 1/3 cup of brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
- Add 1/2 cup of softened unsalted butter to the dry ingredients and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Spread the berry mixture evenly across the bottom of a baking dish.
- Evenly distribute the crumble mixture over the berries.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the berries are bubbling.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in the oven at 300°F (150°C) for about 10-15 minutes.
- You can use frozen berries, just thaw and drain before mixing.
- For a dairy-free option, substitute butter with coconut oil or vegan butter.
