- 4 slices of Italian bread
- 4 slices of bologna
- 2 slices of American cheese
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1/2 cup of lettuce (shredded)
- 1/2 cup of tomatoes (sliced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter for toasting
Instructions
- Toast the Italian bread in a skillet or toaster until golden brown.
- Spread mayonnaise and mustard on one slice of toasted bread and layer with bologna.
- Add a slice of American cheese, shredded lettuce, and tomato slices.
- Top with another slice of toasted bread, press gently, and slice in half. Enjoy!
