Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, then fold in the chocolate chips.
- Roll out the dough to 1/4 inch thickness and use cookie cutters to cut out shapes. Arrange them on a baking tray and bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden. Let cool on a wire rack.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
- For longer storage, freeze cookies in a sealed container for up to three months.
- Chill dough for 30 minutes before baking for thicker cookies.
