Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, blend the eggs, sugar, vanilla, brewed coffee, and vegetable oil until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry, folding gently until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack and cool completely.
- Decorate with whipped cream and dust with cocoa powder before serving.
