- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 6 slices of bacon
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Condiments of your choice (ketchup, mustard, mayo)
Instructions
- Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, then divide it into four portions and shape into patties with an indentation in the center.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then drain on paper towels, saving some drippings in the skillet.
- Grill or pan-fry the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, adding a slice of cheese to each patty during the last minute.
- Assemble the burger by spreading condiments on the bottom bun, then layering lettuce, cheesy patty, bacon, tomato, and onion before adding the top bun.
Notes
- Leftovers should cool completely before being stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Reheat leftovers in a skillet for the best taste.
