Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef (preferably 80/20 for juiciness)
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 8 strips of bacon
- 4 burger buns, toasted
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, mustard
Instructions
- Start by cooking the bacon until crispy. You can use the Ninja Air Fryer for a quick, less greasy option.
- While the bacon cooks, shape the ground beef into four equal patties. Season with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side until they reach your preferred level of doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and allow it to melt.
- In the same skillet, sauté sliced onions in olive oil until caramelized, about 10 minutes.
- Assemble the burger by placing a beef patty on the toasted bun, add crispy bacon, caramelized onions, and any other toppings you enjoy.
- Top with the second bun and serve hot, paired with your favorite sides like Chili Cheese Fries or Waffles.
Notes
- Use high-quality bacon for maximum flavor and crispiness.
- To ensure even cooking, don’t overcrowd the skillet or air fryer basket.
- Toast buns for better texture and flavor.
- Feel free to add extra toppings like lettuce, tomato, or pickles for customization.
