- 1 lb boneless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Coat chicken pieces in cornstarch evenly.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry chicken until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and ginger; sauté briefly until fragrant.
- Add sweet chili sauce and soy sauce, simmer for 2 minutes.
- Return chicken to the skillet, toss to coat with the sauce, and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For extra spice, add a touch of red pepper flakes.
- Serve with steamed rice or vegetables for a complete meal.
