- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Edible glitter for decoration
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Warm oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully pipe or scoop the batter into hot oil to form donuts. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove donuts and drain on paper towels.
- Dip the donuts in mirrorball glaze (see below) and sprinkle with edible glitter. Allow to set before serving.

- Ensure oil temperature stays consistent for even cooking.
- Use a confectioner’s spray or a fine sieve to apply edible glitter evenly.
