Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ribeye steaks (1 inch thick)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, and onion powder to make the marinade.
- Place the ribeye steaks in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal and coat the steaks well. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the steaks from the marinade and let excess drip off.
- Grill the steaks for 4-5 minutes on one side to create a sear, then flip and grill for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare.
- Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness (130°F for medium-rare, 140°F for medium).
- Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes to redistribute juices, then slice against the grain.
Notes
- For a different steak cut, sirloin, flank, or New York strip can be used.
- Marination is key for flavor and juiciness.
- Serve with sides like mashed potatoes, green salad, or grilled vegetables.
