Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (fresh or thawed)
- 1 cup lemonade (preferably fresh-squeezed)
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish (parsley, dill, or thyme)
- Sliced lemons for decoration
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine lemonade, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Stir well to create the fantasy marinade.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Arrange the marinated salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin side down if applicable. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the salmon flakes easily.
- While baking, pour remaining marinade into a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes until thickened into a glaze.
- Brush the baked salmon generously with the lemonade glaze. Garnish with fresh herbs and lemon slices before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh, high-quality salmon for optimal flavor and texture.
- Adjust the sweetness by varying honey or syrup quantity.
- Garnish with fresh herbs for added color and flavor.
- Serve with sides like wild rice, quinoa, or roasted vegetables for a complete magical meal.
