Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the cold, cubed butter to the flour mixture and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- In a separate bowl, mix the heavy cream and Crown Royal whiskey, then add to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Roll out the dough to 1-inch thickness, cut into rounds, place on a baking sheet, and brush with beaten egg. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
