Discover the refreshing world of Killer Frost Ice Pops, inspired by The Flash Caitlin Snow. These vibrant blue frozen treats are perfect for hot summer days, combining blueberries, coconut water, and Greek yogurt for a delicious and visually striking dessert. Easy to make and fun for the whole family, these ice pops are a cool way to beat the heat with a pop of color and flavor.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes + 4-6 hours freezing
  • Yield: 8 ice pops

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups of fresh blueberries (or frozen blueberries)
  • 1 cup of coconut water
  • ½ cup of Greek yogurt
  • 1-2 drops of blue food coloring (optional for extra Frost effect)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (adjust sweetness to taste)
  • Clear plastic or silicone ice pop molds

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Blueberry Mixture: In a blender, combine blueberries, coconut water, Greek yogurt, honey, and blue food coloring (if using). Blend until smooth and vibrant blue.
  2. Fill the Molds: Pour the blueberry mixture into your ice pop molds, leaving a little space at the top for expansion.
  3. Insert Sticks and Freeze: Place the molds in the freezer and let them freeze for at least 4-6 hours or overnight for the best result.
  4. Unmold and Serve: To remove the ice pops, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds. Gently pull out the frozen treats and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use ripe and fresh blueberries for the best flavor and color intensity.
  • You can substitute Greek yogurt with dairy-free alternatives like coconut or almond yogurt for vegan options.
  • Adjust the amount of blue food coloring for a more or less intense Frost effect.
  • Allow the ice pops to sit at room temperature for a few seconds before unmolding for easier removal.
