Instructions
- Wash the fresh asparagus thoroughly under cold water and dry with a clean kitchen towel.
- Trim the tough ends of the asparagus spears, about 1-2 inches from the base.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add the asparagus to the skillet, cooking for 5-7 minutes until bright green and tender.
- Add lemon zest, salt, and pepper to taste. Optionally sprinkle with Parmesan cheese just before serving.
