- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar

- 3-4 tablespoons cold water
- 3 large apples, sliced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Mix flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
- Add cold butter and mix until crumbly.
- Gradually add water, kneading lightly into dough.
- Wrap dough in plastic and chill for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
- Roll dough into a circle and fit into a tart pan.
- In a bowl, toss apple slices with lemon juice, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
- Arrange apples on the crust and bake for 40-45 minutes until golden.
Notes
- You can add a glaze or dust with powdered sugar before serving.
- Use tart or Granny Smith apples for best flavor.
