- 4 chicken thighs, skin-on and bone-in
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season with black pepper.
- In a saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Cook until bubbling and fragrant.
- Heat sesame oil in a skillet, add chicken skin-side down, and sear for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Flip and pour the glaze over the chicken, cover, and cook for 10-15 minutes.
- Plate the chicken, drizzle with remaining glaze, and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For serving, pair with jasmine rice or mixed vegetables for a complete meal.
