- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt

- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition, followed by the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on the sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
