- 1 package of pre-made puff pastry or homemade tart dough
- 2 cups of fresh or frozen cherries, pitted
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out your puff pastry or tart dough and cut into circles to fit your tart tins.
- Line each tart tin with the pastry circles, gently pressing the dough into the bottoms and sides.
- In a saucepan, combine cherries, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract. Cook over medium heat until the mixture thickens and the cherries release their juices, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the cherry filling from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Fill each tart shell with the cherry mixture, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Brush the edges of the pastry with an egg wash for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
- Allow the tarts to cool before garnishing with edible red glitter or colored sugar for that Red Pill aesthetic.
