Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ cups of mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1 pre-made tart crust (or homemade for an extra touch)
- ¾ cup of heavy cream
- ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar
- Glow-in-the-dark edible gel (optional, for a cyberpunk effect)
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Wash all the berries thoroughly. In a mixing bowl, combine berries, sugar, and lemon juice. Stir gently to coat and let sit for 15-20 minutes.
- Pour the berry mixture into a saucepan and cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes, stirring until thickened. Cool completely.
- If using a store-bought tart crust, thaw and prepare as instructed. If making your own, roll out your buttery crust and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes until golden brown. Cool completely.
- Fill the cooled tart shell with the berry filling, spreading evenly. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Whip the heavy cream with vanilla extract and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Decorate the tart with whipped cream, fresh berries, mint leaves, and optional glow-in-the-dark gel for a futuristic cyberpunk effect.
Notes
- Use high-quality berries for vibrant colors and better flavor.
- Ensure the berry filling is fully cooled before filling the tart to prevent sogginess.
- Adding glow-in-the-dark edible gel creates a luminous cyberpunk look—apply sparingly for best effect.
- Chill the tart for at least 30 minutes to set the filling properly.
