Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar until well combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually fold into the wet mixture until fully incorporated.
- Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips for extra fudgy goodness.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For an extra fudgy texture, slightly underbake and add a few more chocolate chips before baking.
- Use high-quality chocolate and butter to enhance flavor.
- Can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerated for up to a week.
