- 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the vanilla extract and add the eggs one at a time.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips and nuts.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets. Bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are golden and centers are soft. Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Use room temperature butter for easier creaming.
- Don’t overmix the dough to keep cookies tender.
- Chill the dough for 30 minutes to prevent spreading.
