Ingredients

- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups mixed roasted nuts (almonds, cashews, peanuts)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Instructions
- Combine the sugar, corn syrup, and butter in a medium saucepan and heat over medium heat, stirring continuously until dissolved and boiling.
- Stir in the mixed roasted nuts and vanilla extract, cooking until reaching 300°F (hard crack stage) on a candy thermometer.
- Remove from heat, stir in baking soda, pour onto a well-greased baking sheet and spread evenly. Allow to cool completely.
- Break into pieces and serve, or store in an airtight container.
