Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped onion; sauté until fragrant and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Stir well and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add red pepper flakes for extra spice if desired.
- Toss the cooked spaghetti into the sauce, ensuring every strand is coated evenly.
